William's Den Fun

With huge thanks to the very lovely people at William's Den we carefully plotted a surprise visit to Toby’s most favourite place on earth, at a time when it was exceptionally quiet and as Covid safe as possible.

William’s Den is a heaven for kids who love sand, water, sticks, mud, open space and exploring. It is the ultimate imaginative creative kids play space. Outdoors has sand, water, zip wires, swings, mud kitchen, hay bales, den building and more. Inside is an amazing treehouse creation with stream flowing through the middle.

We did try to come at least once a year to visit the Den but Covid got in the way. Given most of the Den is outdoors, or with big open spaces with good ventilation, it was a good place to create some memories to break up the long spells spent at home this year. It’s given us all a big boost of fun. It’s clear the kids have loved their visit. The icecream was fabulous too.

Thanks to the Williams Den team for helping me plan today. We really appreciate it. It’s been a lovely way to end half term. Originally Published on 5.11.2021
