Pumpkin Carving Day

Pumpkin carving day!

It couldn’t have come a minute too soon for Toby. He’s been trying to get us to carve it since it arrived last week!

This year we had an extra curious helper. The kitten seemed super interested in everything but especially fishing seeds out. Pumpkin is apparently good for cats so we let her play.

I had forgotten how much Toby just enjoys playing with the send and pulp. It’s a huge sensory experience for him.

It’s the first time we have cut the bottom off the pumpkin, rather than the top. I’m not sure it was any easier and we probably won’t do it again. There’s something nice about putting the lid on even if it makes lighting the tea lights harder.
