Makaton Dictionary

Toby's grandad buys Toby a Something Special magazine subscription. It is a great gift idea.

Once the magazine has been completed, I cut out and save the Makaton images.

Some years ago I bought an A5 sized address book with A-Z tabs, and started sticking in the signs from the magazine, along with any signs sent home by school to support new reading words or vocabulary.

Whilst I have a number of makaton books, this is my 'go to' book for basic every day vocabulary. It's one of the best ideas I had!
