Just Between Us

I bought this for Rosie’s 13th birthday. I hoped it would create opportunities for us to talk and share but I never thought she would really want to do it. But tonight she brought it and asked if we can do some.

It’s been really interesting to talk but also see our different perspectives. I asked all the deep and meaningful ‘are you happy with your life’ type questions. Rosie meanwhile has been looking for the hidden skeletons in my closet (there are none) except she asked if I had ever lied other than Santa and the Easter Bunny. Santa is of course real because we met him in Lapland, but as for the Easter Bunny, we’ll he’s too quick to spot!! As for the question about who is my favourite child!!
