Days of the Week

This week Toby has been to school twice. The first time to do some science work on shadows. The second was to do PE outside.

At home we have been learning about left and right. We also are reinforcing days of the week. Toby seems to have a grasp of the order of the days which surprises me. We have looked at them a few times, but with a non-verbal child it is difficult to know what he actually knows.

He always knows when it is Friday though! Tesco delivery day! He always gets the shopping bags out ready for me. He must have some indicators or inbuilt calendar that I dont know about. Originally Posted on 7.5.2021
