Hello, We are Rosie and Toby

Rosie was born in 2008, and Toby was born in 2010.
From their first meeting, the two children have adored each other.

However life has not been easy.
Toby was diagnosed shortly after birth with Down's Syndrome. He has associated hearing impairment, visual impairment and hypotonia which affects his mobility and motor skills. Toby has almost no speech and uses makaton to support what he says.
When Rosie was 4 and a half years old, she was diagnosed unexpectedly with Type 1 Diabetes. This diagnosis was soon followed with one of Coeliac Disease.
Just before Rosie's 10th Birthday we were told that she had Asperger's Syndrome. This actually came as quite a surprise at the time.
Rosie and Toby live with their mum and 3 fluffy kitties.
Rosie and Toby love going on adventures and enjoy school work.
